TRAX Program Support supporting local development inititatives in São Paulo, Brasil

São Paulo, Brasil has many low income and unhoused persons living in the urban center area. The project provides support to these people in several ways, including:

• Regular street events with donation of food, personal items, toiletries and other essentials to hundreds of unhoused persons.
• Special events at sheltered housing, community centers and other locations, with joyful celebrations of life.
• Street events, drawing unhoused people into celebrations and community.
• Direct support to families and individuals to assist in finding work, economic opportunities and housing.

TRAX Program Support has been working with these projects since 2020 when the Covid=19 pandemic caused great hardship for urban poor in São Paulo, in the intervening years the project has grown and now includes the efforts of many local volunteers.
